UV DTF Printing November 2, 2024 – Posted in: dtf printer
ALL IEHK UV printers can handle UVDTF Printing, What is UVDTF Printing?
UV DTF is a printing process that allows you to use a UV printer to create UV DTF sheets. Unlike UVDIRECT printing, which prints directly onto hard objects and is limited to one object at a time or specific materials with regular shapes, UV DTF enables you to print on UV DTF sheets. You can print one image at a time or multiple images simultaneously, effectively creating a sheet of UV-printed stickers. These stickers can be peeled off and transferred to various hard surfaces, making this method ideal for irregular shapes, curves, and large items that would otherwise be difficult to print on directly.
It’s important to note that while UV DTF stickers produced by UV DTF are water-resistant and wear-resistant, they do not offer the same level of protection against environmental elements as direct-to-substrate UV printing.
**Procedure for UVDTF Printing:**
1. Print on A film using UVDTF ink and varnish.
2. Laminate A film to B film (a laminator is required; set the temperature to 195°F and laminate at a slow speed).
3. Peel and apply the stickers to your desired surfaces.
